The whole new update is going to give a whole new dimension of elitism to this game. as Mentalmdc stated, now you're going to have to have merged accounts and the skills, armor, weapons, proffesions, etc. that come with it. This means that those of us who wish to get in to many or most PvE groups wil inevitably have to merge, and those of us who want to even have a chance in PvP will have to as well. Those with merged accounts will easliy get miles ahead of those who do not, which creates a whole new rift in addition to the already existing one where you need to be fairly wealthy to gain wealth. We'll have the lower tier of non-merged accounts, then the top tier further divided into rich and not-as-rich. This will suck for noobs and those who picked up either prophecies or factions alone.

What? There is no arguement, I'm not argueing with anyone. I was giving my reason for feeling ok with getting just 2 extra slots. Since this was a topic about the 2 extra slots, i felt it was ok to share my personal opinion. A lot of people spend enough time and effort in the game to upkeep way more than 8 characters, but I don't...so I was saying so...

I was just pointing out one of the potential set-backs of having more and more characters that people may or may not have been thinking about.
